Grand Rapids, Minnesota Al Sibly of Legnedary Log Homes 2000-2002
I helped build log homes with the kind of logs that are milled flat on two sides and were hand peeled on the other two sides. Al Sibley also had a Mill, so we cut and peeled all of our own logs and built houses from start to finish along with providing log kits for other contractors. I traveled a lot during this job and helped build a couple of houses in Colorado and Wisconsin. He liked me working for him so much he asked me back to work to help build his retirement home and repairs on previous houses he had built .We also made a lot of fancy deck railings out of Natural aspen from Colorado.
